Mu Alpha Theta - Ryan High School Chapter (#2066)

Interested in mathematics?
Wondering how it’s used outside of the high school curriculum?

You're in the right place!

Mu Alpha Theta
The National High School and Junior College Mathematics Club & Honor Society.

Who can be a full member?
If you’re enrolled in Precalculus or Statistics you are most likely eligible.  You must have earned at least a 3.0 each semester in your high school math classes.

Full membership does cost $10 (a one-time fee) but includes certificate, card and registry in the national verification database.

What does Mu Alpha Theta do?
It is important to Mu Alpha Theta that chapters are not, “just,” honor societies.

We will meet monthly to discuss mathematics; compete throughout the year at the regional, state and national levels; and (most importantly) investigate what you want to investigate.

Where do I go and who do I talk to?
Find Mr. Coach Kiraly in room 263 (that’s across from the Renaissance Hall but upstairs).
Email: mkiraly@dentonisd.org
